SATURDAY, APRIL 21, 2018, 6 PM, ST. LUKE’S EPISCOPAL CHURCH: The festivities begin in the St. Luke’s chapel with brief environmental reflections by the Reverend Luke Fodor and by Steve Raynor (AKA Ken Hardley) of the Jamestown Dharmata Meditation Group. This will be followed by ten-minutes of mindfulness (Earth healing meditation, contemplation, and/or prayers).
Guests can also join the program at 6:15 in the main sanctuary, when Autumn Echo, Jamestown’s “Slam Master” poet presents “An Apology to Mother Earth.” “The Pillar of Light: An Earth Day Revival and Community Sculpture Project” will be illuminated during Echo’s performance.
At 6:30, Bill Ward and the “Earth Day Revue” (Chris and Mark Panfil, and Brian Hanna will perform nature songs. We invite guests to enjoy wine and beer tasting, and hors d’oeuvres by Studio D Catering.
