Linder, photographer, filmmaker, and visual storyteller, holds a bachelor’s degree from the United States Naval Academy and a master’s degree in oceanography from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. His images have appeared in museums, books, calendars, and magazines, including, Smithsonian, Audubon, Nature’s Best, and Wired.
After 50 expeditions and more than two years of exploring the polar regions, Linder is now focused on the stories and scientific findings from the Congo to Siberia. He has presented over 100 talks to diverse audiences, and is a dynamic artist and presenter of scientific information.
